Kahn, Dees, Donovan & Kahn, LLP (KDDK) – an experienced full-service law firm dedicated to effectively serving the legal needs of clients since 1908 – is pleased to announce that Kent A. “KAB” Brasseale II has been named a Co-Managing Partner of the firm.  

KAB earned a bachelor’s degree in chemical engineering from Purdue University in 1990, and his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law in 1993. His engineering background and 25+ years’ experience equip him with the skills and knowledge to efficiently and effectively represent clients in environmental, mineral, intellectual property, construction, business, and real estate matters. His energy and natural resources practice also includes extensive work relating to wind farm and solar projects.

Licensed to practice in Indiana and Illinois, KAB is an active member of the Indiana Oil & Gas Association, Illinois Oil & Gas Association, Evansville Bar Association, and Indiana State Bar Association (Environmental Section, Past President). He has also been licensed as an Indiana Real Estate Instructor.

KAB currently serves as Vice President of the Board of Directors for Ronald McDonald House Charities of the Ohio Valley, and has been actively involved with the Southwest Indiana Chamber Environmental Committee (Former Chairman), Big Creek Wetlands Foundation, Inc. (Vice President), Evansville Christian School, and Kennel Club of Evansville, Inc.

KAB joins KDDK Co-Managing Partners Jeffrey K. Helfrich and Mark S. Samila. He succeeds Partner Brian P. Williams, who has completed his term as a Co-Managing Partner and continues to engage in the active practice of law with the firm.
