Makenzie M. Mehringer

Makenzie Mehringer takes pride in being an assertive attorney who is dedicated to providing effective counsel for her clients. As she begins her career, Makenzie looks forward to growing in the firm’s litigation practice and in the area of family law. She will also serve in the firm’s debt collection, insurance, labor and employment law practice areas. 

In law school, Makenzie was involved in many activities to increase her real-life knowledge of the legal field. She was involved in the Viola J. Taliaferro Family and Children Mediation Clinic where she gained the skills to become a registered domestic relations mediator. In the Clinic, Makenzie mediated family law cases for low-income families in the State of Indiana. Makenzie also participated in the Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition where she received Oral Advocacy Honors and was an Octofinalist, as well as the Maurer School of Law Internal Trial Competition. 

A native of Jasper, Indiana, Makenzie enjoys spending time with her family and boyfriend, Noah. Her hobbies include hiking, traveling abroad, visiting local coffee shops, and tending to her houseplants.
