Schopmeyer Named to Indiana’s 250 Most Influential Executives for the Second Year

Mike Schopmeyer

Mike Schopmeyer, KDDK Partner and former Co-Managing Partner, has once again been named to IBJ Media’s 250 Most Influential in Indiana. Schopmeyer was part of the inaugural group selected for this honor last year and joins a number of KDDK’s clients on this year’s roster. According to IBJ Media, the Indiana 250 is intended to recognize “individuals who are influential statewide or in Indiana communities or regions….people who are making the biggest difference for Indiana’s economy and for Hoosiers.

“I was surprised and honored to be included in the Indiana 250 again this year,” Schopmeyer said. Throughout his career, Schopmeyer has been committed to supporting the growth and success of Indiana by advocating for projects such as the completion of I-69 for more than 25 years, including serving as legal counsel to Voices for I-69 and Bridgelink. He has helped lead numerous large-scale civic projects. In Evansville, he has been a founding member and Executive Committee member of the Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana and the current Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (E-REP), as well as being the founder, organizer, and current board member for Keep Evansville Beautiful and the Evansville Tree Advisory Board.

“In addition to serving our KDDK clients and involvement with E-REP, I have had the high honor of serving many other regional and state civic and government entities and causes. Giving back to the community remains an enduring and vital part of KDDK’s mission since 1908,” said Schopmeyer.
