The Evansville Bar Association (EBA) honored Cindy Effinger with the Outstanding Paralegal Award at their Annual Meeting and Law Day Celebration held April 25, 2024. As a 14-year member of the KDDK team, Effinger was nominated for her dedication to the EBA Paralegal and Legal Staff Section and her volunteer activities with her church and several other nonprofit organizations.
The award was established by the EBA in 2009 and is intended to recognize those members of the Paralegal Section who have provided outstanding service to the Evansville legal community. Nominees must be current members of the Paralegal Section and meet additional standards such as level of involvement in the Paralegal Section, efforts to promote and enhance the profession, and a dedication to helping others as demonstrated through their involvement in the community.
