Kahn, Dees, Donovan & Kahn, LLP (KDDK) has hired Patrick C. Thomas as an associate attorney. He was sworn in during an Admission Ceremony held today in Indianapolis.
Patrick C. Thomas (Pat) has joined KDDK as an associate and serves on the firm’s Litigation and Trial Services practice team. Pat is licensed to practice law in the State of Indiana; and has earned admission to the U.S. District Court for the Southern District of Indiana.
Pat is a member of the American Bar Association, Indiana State Bar Association, Evansville Bar Association, Defense Trial Counsel of Indiana, Brooks American Inn of Court, and Rotoract Club of Evansville; and is a Vanderburgh Teen Court volunteer attorney and Younglife volunteer.
A native of West Harrison, Ind., Pat earned his Juris Doctor from Indiana University Maurer School of Law, Bloomington, in 2013. He was actively involved in the Protective Order Project (Assistant Student Director and Certified Legal Intern), Graduate and Professional Student Organization (Vice President), Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition, Christian Law Society, Business Law Society, and Taliaferro Family and Children Mediation Clinic. He was a Sherman Minton Moot Court Competition Octofinalist and received Top 20 Brief Writing Honors.
Pat earned his bachelor’s degree in political science, with a certificate from the Liberal Arts and Management Program and minors in economics and psychology, from Indiana University, Bloomington, in 2009. He was elected to Phi Beta Kappa and was awarded the Burnett-Masters Junior Scholarship for Leadership.
While in Bloomington, Pat also served as a volunteer track and cross country coach at Brown County High School for seven years, and was a Volunteer Leader with Younglife of Greater Bloomington.
