Kahn, Dees, Donovan & Kahn, LLP (KDDK) is pleased to announce that Mike Schopmeyer, Partner and former Co-Managing Partner, has been named to IBJ Media’s Inaugural 250 Most Influential in Indiana. According to IBJ Media, the Indiana 250 is intended to recognize “individuals who are influential statewide or in Indiana communities or regions….people who are making the biggest difference for Indiana’s economy and for Hoosiers.

“Mike was a natural fit for this recognition,” said Mark Samila, Co-Managing Partner for KDDK. “Throughout his career, Mike has been active in initiatives that benefit Evansville, the Tri-State region and the State of Indiana having worked on many environmental and civic projects.”

Vested in the continued growth and success of Indiana, Schopmeyer has advocated for the completion of I-69 for more than 25 years, including serving as legal counsel to Voices for I-69 and Bridgelink, and has helped lead numerous large-scale civic projects. In Evansville, he has been a founding member and Executive Committee member of the Economic Development Coalition of Southwest Indiana and the current Evansville Regional Economic Partnership (E-REP), as well as being the founder, organizer, and current board member for Keep Evansville Beautiful and the Evansville Tree Advisory Board.

“In addition to serving our KDDK clients and involvement with E-REP, I have had the high honor of serving many other regional and state civic and government entities and causes. Giving back to the community remains an enduring and vital part of KDDK’s mission since 1908,” said Schopmeyer.
