On July 4, 2026, the United States will celebrate 250 years since the adoption of the Declaration of Independence. That landmark document not only declared our independence and launched our nation, but also established the foundational values upon which our democracy would be built.
The Declaration was more than a break from Britain—it boldly asserted that government must answer to the people and recognized that all are endowed with the inalienable rights of life, liberty, and the pursuit of happiness. These ideals have withstood the test of time, shaping an enduring democracy that continues to grow and strengthen.
For 118 of these 250 years—nearly half of our nation’s history—Kahn, Dees, Donovan & Kahn LLP has had the privilege of serving our clients and the community. Throughout that time, we have championed justice and worked to uphold the values deeply ingrained in our democracy.
We remain dedicated to the mission our founding fathers set forth—supporting freedom of person and enterprise, advocating for justice, and advancing the common good. As we celebrate this historic anniversary, our firm is grateful for the opportunity to continue upholding the principles upon which the United States was founded. It is an honor to serve our clients, our community, and the enduring ideals that have shaped this great nation.
