We are pleased to announce that Seth B. Zirkle has joined the firm as a partner effective January 31, 2022. Seth will focus his practice on all aspects of real estate, business, banking, and construction matters. He brings a wealth of experience in counseling clients on creative, yet practical and successful, solutions. Admitted to practice in Indiana, Tennessee, and Maryland, and before the U.S. District Court for the District of Maryland, Seth is a member of the Evansville Bar Association, where he also serves on its Board of Directors, the Indiana State Bar Association, and the Maryland State Bar Association.
A Hoosier native, Seth returned to Evansville after having practiced in the greater Washington, D.C. area and Nashville, Tennessee, where his practice focused on commercial land use and business matters. Seth earned his bachelor’s degree, cum laude, from Wabash College in 2004. He continued his academic pursuits at Yale Divinity School before moving on to Indiana University’s Robert H. McKinney School of Law, where he earned his Juris Doctor with Honors in Health Law in 2008.
Seth’s commitment to civic engagement includes his recent appointment to the Indiana Advisory Committee of the U.S. Commission on Civil Rights, and his service on the Audit and Risk Management Committee of Youth First, Inc., in addition to his prior service on the Board of Directors of Youth First, Inc., and appointments to the Prince George’s County (Md.) Human Relations Commission and Prince George’s County Human Trafficking Taskforce.
