She represents privately held businesses, entrepreneurs, and non-profit organizations across a wide range of transactional matters, including mergers and acquisitions, business purchases and sales, entity formation, commercial contracting, corporate governance, and business restructuring. Heather also assists clients with real estate transactions—from negotiation through closing—as well as environmental, trademark, and copyright matters. Before entering the legal profession, Heather spent seven years working in the education field—an experience that sharpened her ability to listen carefully, navigate complex stakeholder dynamics, and approach challenges with patience and perspective. Originally from Tell City, she earned her undergraduate degree in Secondary Education and History from Vanderbilt University and a Master of Education degree in School Psychology, Counseling Psychology, and Counselor Education from the University of Maryland. She went on to earn her Juris Doctor degree from the Indiana University Maurer School of Law in Bloomington, where she combined her passion for problem-solving with a commitment to serving business clients.
Outside of the office, Heather enjoys spending time with her husband, family, and her dogs. Her hobbies include listening to podcasts, watching the New York Mets, and reading.
